Thanksgiving on Cape Cod
Thanksgiving is a special time of year to come to Cape Cod! Cape Cod is rich in history and there is so much to see and do to help us connect with our Pilgrim or Native American ancestors. There are wonderful trails through swamps, marshes, along kettle ponds and beautiful beaches. Just the other day, someone found an arrowhead and another person found a very old coin both while walking along trails and beaches in Harwich.
How about visiting Plimoth Plantation, a re-creation of a Pilgrim village and Wampanoag homesite. You will really get a feel of what life was like during the very first Thanksgiving! They also serve dinners (unique re-creations of 17th century cooking) at this plantation, but reservations are a must.
